The robot in this photo is in Montreal. The full mural shows an aged, broken robot with vegetation growing throughout his massive torso.

Having photographed only the head, I picture him (yes, him) as something that seems big and scary at first, until you learn that all he really wants to do is get down and dance. For some reason, I named him "Keep".

I make short songs for doing dishes or walking the dog or riding the bus. Sometimes it sounds like the smell of the ground after it rains in autumn. Sometimes it sounds like a long summer drive with the windows down.

Sometimes I make music for film/TV/games/radio. Sometimes I make music for patrons.

Most of the time I'm drinking coffee.
