For Ila, I tried to think of something we could both relate to. Since she's part of my annual Regina Folk Fest tribe, that seemed like a nice theme.

The song features a bunch of vocal harmonies, stick clicks, snaps, and a bunch of synthesizer stuff.


You call our friends
I can bring some decent wine
I'll see you there
We can meet at the same time

Wait it out then fall apart
Count every step toward the world which we're a part

I make short songs for doing dishes or walking the dog or riding the bus. Sometimes it sounds like the smell of the ground after it rains in autumn. Sometimes it sounds like a long summer drive with the windows down.

Sometimes I make music for film/TV/games/radio. Sometimes I make music for patrons.

Most of the time I'm drinking coffee.
